Paper accepted at European Journal of Operational Research

Our latest research paper has just been accepted by European Journal of Operational Research (with my wonderful coauthors Alp Arslan, Firat Kilci, and Archan Misra): “Choice-based crowdshipping for next-day delivery services: A dynamic task display problem” (PDF)

In this paper, we demonstrate how to best utilize crowd drivers serving a crowdshipping platform by choosing the “right” set of tasks to display to them.

Methodologically speaking, we propose an efficient look-ahead policy to tackle the explosion of problem size; empirically speaking, we present the benefits of such a choice-based design using a Singapore-inspired use case.
